Today we'll be looking at foods that help restore hair loss.
In this series, there are many food stuffs that contribute hair growth,
we give you one steeps at a time. Today we are looking at Beans.
BEANS have significant
amounts of fiber and soluble fiber,
with one cup of cooked beans providing between nine and 13 grams of fiber. Soluble fiber can help lower blood cholesterol. Beans are also high in protein, complex
carbohydrates, folate, and iron.
If you are on the lookout for a simple and
natural boost for your hair, try incorporating more beans into your diet.
They are a great source of vitamin B6 and folic acid, magnesium, sulfur, zinc
and biotin. All of these nutrients promote shiny, strong, moisturized hair that
grows. Biotin, specifically, is known to boost the hair growth rate if
regularly added into your daily diet. The American Diabetes Association
recommends a serving of three cups of beans per week!
There’s a difference between slightly thinning strands and
noticeable "I can see my scalp hair loss" and the latter can be
caused by iron deficiency. Clams and oysters are among the highest food sources
of the mineral, but beans is probably a more realistic everyday option. One cup
of beans packs nearly 8 mg of iron.
Normal hair growth is about half an inch
per month (give or take), or 6 inches a year. But since diet plays a role in
hair growth, you can give this a little nudge by ensuring your hair is growing
to its maximum potential.
Choosing foods that promote healthy hair
is the best thing you can do to give hair growth a boost. Keep in mind though,
you won’t wake up with long hair overnight, as the hair growth process is
unavoidably drawn-out. But, by incorporating beans into your diet, you’re
setting the optimum foundation for long, strong, healthy hair growth.
