The Man of God, Rev Dr. Chris Oyakhilome D. Sc. D.D. mounts the Stage in style!
Let me explain briefly to you what worship and communion are and why we're doing them...
Don't hold on to doctrinal expose... you'll understand prayer when you see me demonstrate it.
This is that kind of meeting.
What's worship?
Worship is the recognition and appreciation of the goodness, kindness and righteousness of God. It's recognition and appreciation of His character. Promoting the character of God. It shows who He is in your life and separate Him from all else. You're saying Lord I know it's You and He'll do more for you. Recognition of His personality. It's important for you.
He blesses you more and brings greater revelation of God. We worship only God. Not men, angels, things or creation. These can't make us grow or reflects in us. During Worship God reveals my future, life, personality and His purpose for my life...
That's why you should give your attention to God in church. You can't worship anyhow you choose...
Cain and Abel offered sacrifice to God. Cain offered to God what he had. His offering was rejected. Abel gave what God wanted.
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. John 4:23-24 KJV
God is a Spirit. The Father seeks for those that will worship God in spirit and in truth. Yes, God knows your mind but wants you to open your mouth to pray, not, think these words...
Jesus spoke words in prayer. God's a Spirit and must worship Him His way in reality...
You must worship God in spirit only when you're born in spirit. Nechademus wanted to know how it would be possible for anyone to be born again...
Journey from the womb to the tomb. That which is born of the Spirit is Spirit...
These are the words of Jesus... He wasn't a philosopher...
Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. Acts 26:17-18 KJV
Where upon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision: But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance. For these causes the Jews caught me in the temple, and went about to kill me. Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come: That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles. Acts 26:19-23 KJV
And as he thus spake for himself, Festus said with a loud voice, Paul, thou art beside thyself; much learning doth make thee mad. But he said, I am not mad, most noble Festus; but speak forth the words of truth and soberness. For the king knoweth of these things, before whom also I speak freely: for I am persuaded that none of these things are hidden from him; for this thing was not done in a corner. King Agrippa, believest thou the prophets? I know that thou believest. Acts 26:24-27 KJV
Do you believe the prophet that foretold of the virgin birth? It happened... with all the things that was said about Jesus, He couldn't be an ordinary man.
Messiah the Son of Joseph and Messiah the Son of David.
One suffering and the other as a king... you err because you know not the scriptures...
The Lord suffered for us... for our salvation... wounded and despised... He bore our grieves... He suffered for our sins, and carried our sorrows...
The Jew's where the ones given the law...
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Galatians 3:13-14 KJV
Through Abraham and through Christ Jesus, the Gentiles were set free.
Acts 13:38-40. Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
All nations are brought as seed through Jesus.
For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Galatians 3:26-29 KJV
I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. John 8:24 KJV
If you don't believe in Jesus, what other hope do you have? Sin is against God. Look for the message on the consequences of sin I preached...
Something is happening already by the Spirit of God...
Words of prophecy... a child is healed of spinal cord injury...
That night that Jesus broke bread with His disciples was different... He told them that this is my body which is broken for you, this do in remembrance of me...
And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. Daniel 9:26 KJV
Isaiah said it's for our transgressions, not for His transgressions...
Drink...
And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. Matthew 26:26-28 KJV
A new testament... for the remission of sin... never to come back again... once and for all...
For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. Hebrews 9:13-16 KJV
Serve the living God...
He had to die... otherwise, our sins would have remained. The will only be enforced after the testator dies...
The woman ran to Jesus because she had seen that Jesus had the power to forgive sins...
Jesus said to the woman to go and sin no more...
He was on His way to the cross to bear that woman's sins...
Jesus came to the mountain to pray that special night... He so prayed that sweat came like drops of blood... Judas came with a band of soldiers... to arrest the miracle worker... Judas hugged and kissed Him...
The soldiers staggered when He introduced Himself... the power of God wouldn't change you without your consent...
They released a criminal in place of Jesus... How many of us are still ashamed of Jesus today...
Who Jesus is...
For it pleased the Father that in him should all the fulness dwell; Colossians 1:19 KJV
God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
Hebrews 1:1-3 KJV
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
John 1:1-5, 12-14 KJV
That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)
1 John 1:1-2 KJV
Life encapsulated in physical body is Jesus. He's life eternal.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; John 5:24-26 KJV
Jesus has inherent life in Himself like the Father...
The Son of the living God... He's real... receive His word and act on it...
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:10 KJV
If you believe, say it and be saved... That's how salvation comes...
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Romans 10:9 KJV
Salvation is for everyone...
This world cannot continue forever. Everything happening has been foretold by the scriptures...
I'll be teaching on these in the coming days... make sure you join...
Lift up your hands and worship the Lord... honour Him...
Pastor Chris prayed for the sick...
Put your hand over the area you need healing...
The Lord is gracious and kind...
The prophet of God declares this month of June as the Month of Prayer and Restoration.
The Man of God admonishes us to meditate on Psalms 23 and 27 emphasizing that this restoration includes a refreshing.
Pray with the kind of positiveness David exhibited. Declare the Word of God in your life like never before in this month.
Praise God forevermore!
