  How to Tweak IMEI Number to Enjoy MTN Bonus Data

 Note: Before changing your IMEI number please screen short the original IMEI number by dialing *#06# then screen shot for security purpose.

To change your IMEI we need to install MTK Engineering

Step 1: Download MTK engineering mode from play store and install it. 
Step 2: Opening MTK engineering Mode 
Step 3: Click on MTK Setting 
Step 4: Click the Connectivity at the left top corner or swipe your screen to the left to view more options and then select CDS Information

 Step 5: Select radio information

Step 6: Select phone 1 or phone 2, the one you want to change the IMEI number. Phone 1 also means SIM 1 and phone 2 means SIM 2

 

Step 7: After select the you want to use press E on your keypad it will drop down some options, for SIM 1 select AT+EGMR =1,7,"" and For SIM 2 AT+EGMR=1,10,"" 

Note: Please be conscious of the four invented comas "" and put the new IMEI number between the them that copied above like this AT+EGMR=1,7,"358429063123457"

Then put a space in between AT and + so it appears like this AT +EGMR=1,7,"358429063123457" then press sendAT command.

A message should pop up saying "At command is msent".

ü  Step 8: Switch off your phone for about 5minutes or put your phone in airplane mode on then off for about 5 minutes.

Once you succeeded in tweaking, wait to receive a 100% bonus message for 6 months, just as it shown in the screenshot below

Change the last 3 or 4 digits, if the IMEI listed above did not give you positive response.

After that, migrate to beta talk by dialing*123*2*6# or text BT to 131. Now, subscribe to any MTN data of your choice with *131*1# and you will be giving double of the data you bought. Use *559*2# or 2 to 131 to check your data balance.
