Civil Defense Intercept Crude Oil Truck Arrests Suspects The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp (NSCDC), Abia state command, at the weekend announced the arrest of two suspects in possession of 20,000 litres of crude oil in a truck on their way from Port Harcourt, Rivers state, en route Imo state. The arrest took place at Obehie in Ukwa west local government area of Imo state during a patrol of the NSCDC along Aba – Port Harcourt expressway. Benito Eze, commandant, NSCDC, Abia state, says the command is on course in carrying out its mandate to end oil theft and vandalism of facilities as well as putting an end the economic sabotage in various forms around the country.
